on my weekend travels i came across so many lovely places and things.
one lovely place that stocks particularly lovely things was nesting bird interiors.
situated on logan road woolloongabba, it nests amongst a wonderful cul-de-sac of shops including cafe's, vintage furniture stores and a violin maker.
i had never really properly explored woolloongabba until a couple of weeks ago and since then have been obsessed!
it seems around every corner and down every second laneway is a great hidden treasure.
nesting bird is a beautiful store that lives above equally charming clothing store miss mouse.
the stairs leading up are a delightful taste of what's to come.
the store's motto is stenciled on the stairwell wall.

when you get to the top, you are welcomed with the lovliest sight.
nesting bird stocks some really really wonderful stuff!
bird cages, cushions, prints, cards, stationary, jewellery, kids toys and clothes, accessories and lot's of other beautiful things.
i love the belle and boo badges and prints, i could buy them all.
this store is a gem, it makes me happy just being in there.
places like this restore my love of brisbane.
so if you happen to be on south side with some time up your sleeve, be sure to visit!

Thanks for this, Amy - it looks fabulous! I've been meaning to go here for ages now. Being one of the non-driving folk has inhibited me though... I'm just going to have to walk that Story Bridge and do it... hmm, maybe I'll cab it ;) K
