i am the person that likes ikea furniture but have wasted so much money on things to watch them fall apart while drooling over designer pieces but the closest i get is fogging up the shop window holding my empty wallet.

so it's pretty cold here in melbourne and i have started to scarf watch a fair bit.

i have a plain black knitted one but i think it's time for a pretty one to join the wardrobe.

i'm deeply in love with the PAM drunk panda scarf but i can't see the day when i have a spare $300 coming any time soon.

i saw a new emily green/lucy hall sample scarf (neon green stripes!) at markit yesterday and can't stop thinking about how much i need it in my life.

the scarf launch party is later this month and i am SO there.

i went to markit yesterday and it was awesome.

the quality of stalls/products was so good, it's just that i physically couldn't see it all.

there were sooooooo many people that it was hard to breathe.

the stalls that i did see were great, especially third drawer down, emily green, heather lighton, victoria mason, a skulk of foxes and able and game.

i really wanted this skulk of foxes timber phone case but it will stay on my 'to-buy-when-you-get-a-job' list for now.

bought these pretties; emily green neon dot earrings and a heather lighton necklace.

i am one of those people that have millions of green bags, but always forget them.
i keep one or two string bags in my handbag for emergency grocery shops but still, sometimes they're just not in there.
this means i have a pile of plastic shopping bags that are re-used for other stuff.
i discovered that keeping a lettuce in a plastic shopping bag changes it's life from four days to two weeks!

there is a point to this story by the way.
i saw these awesome produce bags on lottie loves this morning and immediately thought "buy buy buy!" then of course the guilt came.
no, i will keep using my ugly grey plastic bags until i learn to stop needing them.
but, you should totally buy some, cause they're awesome.

i hate to admit it, but i am so cheap when it comes to frames.
i either don't frame things and blutac them on the wall or buy cheap ikea frames and regret it six months later.
this awesome interview with united measures was kinda a kick in the butt.
pretty things deserve pretty frames!
