deftones have long been my most worshiped band of all time.
i got their new (and long awaited) album last night, diamond eyes, and wow.
this is the best thing i've ever heard (or seen, very sexy packaging), it makes my heart fly and my head go to mush.
no words can describe it's awesomeness.
antiquiet gave it a go with this awesome review, five stars of course.
if you like your tunes on the heavy side of life, get this, right now.

harvest at nine lives.

the smith show last friday night was amazing.
i've been to many wonderful nine lives shows but this was heaven.
we got there a tad late... meaning five minutes before they kicked everyone out, but those five minutes were a treat!
i was scarily close to handing over a thousand dollars for one particularly stunning piece, sadly i chickened out, but the show has another two weeks yet so maybe...
anyway i got these pics from nine lives, they tell the leafy story.

the show is tomorrow, i am getting pumped via my perfectly perfect new desktop wallpaper.
unproductive news is that i've already wasted hours just staring at it.
every time i close a file those two little faces pop out again, i love it.

this weekend it's finally here, the hannah smith show i've had patiently waiting on my calendar for months.
i absolutely love love love her work and have posted a few of my favorite pieces here before.
this friday night she is having her first solo show in brisbane at nine lives gallery (the home of all things good).

i got to work this morning after three days of total hell to find the smallest, sweetest most lovely email from her.
