a large chunk of my state, queensland, is drowning from floods.
there have been so many crazy pictures illustrating this in the news recently but these ones are particularly scary.
i wish i could take time off and go save some animals!

ok so i disappeared for weeks on end, but i'm sorry!
i got lost in a sea of food, friends, free time and vodka and refused to admit i'd have to find my way out eventually.
well, that didn't last quite as long as i'd hoped and i am back in the real world.
goodbye holidays and swimming pools, hello 9-5 and climate control.

it's not all bad though.
i return to blog land with a shiny gift.
